Q. Why should I transfer my audio or video to a digital format?
A. You should consider transferring your audio or video over to a digital medium for peace of mind. Tape will get brittle over time and eventually degrade and even break. By transferring over to a digital format you can preserve your own audio or video creations for years to come and in fact, can make multiple copies of the new medium to share with family and friends.
Q. Why should I choose your company?
A. Here at Tribirch our goal is to provide you, our client, with the best service possible. We care about the work we are doing for you and we wish to work with you to ensure that you receive a product that both yourself and ourselves can be proud of.
Q. What is the process to place an order with your company?
A. Contact us and we can discuss your requirements. A quote will be produced based upon your needs and sent to you for your approval. If you decide to proceed with the work then you would send us your source material along with your quote number and and any special instructions (i.e. CD/DVD titles etc) and we will perform the agreed upon transfers. Upon completion of the work we will contact you using the method(s) of your choice and send you a copy of the invoice for payment. After the invoice has been paid we will ship the source material and the new CD's or DVD's back to you.
Q. How long does it take to get my work done?
A. This will depend on the duration of the audio or video media you provide to us. Ultimately it comes down to a person using their eyes and or ears to evaluate the source that we are given and to then use their skills to ensure that you receive the best transfer possible.
Q. Can you personalize the CD or DVD case?
A. Yes. In fact we encourage you to do this. When sending in an order containing home recordings please give thought to the title of the final output as well as any chapter, song or track titles you would like to have listed. By doing this it will ensure that you receive a disc that is uniquely yours and will trigger memories for years to come.
An example would be a recording of band, or perhaps a family singing together. You may wish to list those present along with the function, location and the year if known.
A transferred recording can make a very special present especially when you put a dedication on the liner such as: " Presented to John and Jane Smith by Larry and Susan Brown on December 25, 2005"
It is the ability for you to add your own personal touch that brings an extra meaning to the movie or recording.
Q. Can I give you an image to put on the CD jewel case or DVD insert?
A. Yes. We are happy to use any image provided to us in an electronic form such as a .jpg for example. Please send it to our email address of russ@tribirch.com and reference your quote number.
Q. How can I pay for your services?
A. We are happy to accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express for credit cards. You may also use a cheque or money order made payable to Tribirch Ltd. If you happen to live in the Calgary, Alberta area then cash too can be used. For your protection we would advise you not to send cash through the mail.
